A Pilates Body Shop Christmas
T’was the night before Christmas and all through the house
All creatures were relaxing even the mouse
The exercise mats hung on the rail with care
They’d been used all week and needed an air
When out of the fireplace there arose such a clatter
Robyn sprang to her feet to see what was the matter
St. Nick arrived in a red lightning flash
He landed on his Glutes with an almighty crash
Things had been hard at the old North Pole
!/2 an hour later he was bearing his soul
To live in a world that’s posturally incorrect
Makes for a Santa that’s a bumbling wreck
Throughout the year his spine had been flogged
To ease his back pain he had turned to the grog
And alcoholics anonymous had made it quite clear
That old St. Nick had better lay off the beer
To show you the strangeness of life’s ebbs and flows Santa was introduced to Pilates and the way that it goes
As they worked out sweated and breathed in through the nose
Sighing out of the mouth elongating through the toes
Scooping in his belly behind the shiny black belt
An improvement to St. Nicks back was immediately felt
Ending their session with an amazing disbelief
Santa was astounded at his newfound relief
