When did you discover Pilates?

Whilst working at the Univerity of NSW Gym in 1998 ,I attended my first Pilates Matwork class and fell in love with the method instantly.
I knew this had to be shared because of the way I felt after each class-invigorated, taller and excited that I found a workout that was completely different to anything I had ever experienced.

When did you start teaching Pilates?

I started teaching in 2001. I had an article in the local newspaper and it generated so much interest - I was amazed at how many people were suffering with back pain.

What is your teaching style?

I love for people to have an experience and learn something new about their body.I want Everybody to feel better than when they walk out. After 21 years of teaching the method I still love learning about how incredible the body is and how I can help people get out of suffering .

I have recently become  Certified in DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability) - a rehabilitation method developed by leading neuroligists and physiotherapists at the Prague school of rehabilitation.I share this in all my classes.

What are you excited about at the moment?

I Became a Spinal Flow Practitioner in 2022, now offering this technique to help clients remove stress and disease in the BODY .Im excited to help people move away from dis-ease in their body to more ease and flow.

More Reviews...

I was recommended to do Pilates from my specialist to manage Ankylosing spondylitis a condition that I was diagnosed with, as a teenager.

Ankylosing spondylitis is an inflammatory disease that, over time, causes some of the small bones in your spine to fuse along with other painful effects on the body.

I have been attending Robyn’s classes for almost 10 years and find my body and spine more flexible.  I always walk out feeling better for attending the class. Robyn observes closely my program and notices exercises that are beneficial to my condition.

My Specialist is very happy with how Pilates has improved and stopped the degeneration of my spine.I’m so glad I found Robyn when I did- I would hate to think what the  condition of my spine/pain would be  in! I feel the difference if I miss a week.
