When did you discover Pilates?
Whilst working at the Univerity of NSW Gym in 1998 ,I attended my first Pilates Matwork class and fell in love with the method instantly.
I knew this had to be shared because of the way I felt after each class-invigorated, taller and excited that I found a workout that was completely different to anything I had ever experienced.
When did you start teaching Pilates?
I started teaching in 2001. I had an article in the local newspaper and it generated so much interest - I was amazed at how many people were suffering with back pain.
What is your teaching style?
I love for people to have an experience and learn something new about their body.I want Everybody to feel better than when they walk out. After 21 years of teaching the method I still love learning about how incredible the body is and how I can help people get out of suffering .
I have recently become Certified in DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability) - a rehabilitation method developed by leading neuroligists and physiotherapists at the Prague school of rehabilitation.I share this in all my classes.
